Vinyl is not breathable so may not be as comfortable to sleep on as a breathable product. It does have the advantage of just wiping it clean without removing it from the bed. These covers are a very inexpensive way to prevent mattresses from becoming home to bed bugs, dust mites and allergens.

  I have two of these and they work great for my daughters beds. Easy to slip on. Makes middle of the night stomach flu cleanups much easy. Just take the fitted sheet off and wipe down!! A must have feature for any house with little kids!

  I have a cat with behavioral issues who enjoys targeting my bed and pillows. The matress and pillow covers have been wonderful! You'll want to be sure to have a matress pad on top of the plastic cover, as it doesn't hold up very well to a *rough sleeper.* I also have a twin size on my futon with a twin fitted sheet over it and it works perfectly.
