Zipper broke on one of the pillows the first night and a couple of nights later on the other one.
 Great Pillow Covers for bedwettersDec 21, 2009
I bought these covers for my sons pillows. When my son was potty training, he would have accidents at night and would some how always get his pillows wet. I would have to wash and dry them to get rid of the smell, and after the second wash they were getting pretty worn out, so I found these covers. These vinyl pillow covers saved his pillows and whenever he had an accident, his pillows were they only thing that stayed dry. He is completely potty trained and I have finally removed them, but will save them for my daughter when she is potty training to save her pillow from the same fate as her brothers. Great product and would recommend them to anyone with the same problem.

This is one well made product -- not like those cheap ones you find at big-box stores whose zippers shred before you can get them on the pillow. They are also heavy gauge and less tear resistant and they don't outgas that awful PVC smell for days on end. I would recommend this product to anyone for pillow protection.

The vinyl pillow cover (zippered) I found that it not only protects the pillow from moisture but also from dust and any kind of insect that might be floating around.

I machine washed one of these on delicate and it fell apart. When I contacted the company, it said they were not meant to be washed, only surface cleaned. I did have success when I had to do more than surface clean by soaking in a sink and air dry.
Be prepared to mend with superglue. The seams/zippers are bonded with heat, so they are not that secure. Small holes/tears occur, but can be repaired with superglue. Other than that, they are a bargain.
